A lot of Halloween plans are being cancelled. I can’t say that I blame them. Grabbing candy from strangers might not be the way to go this particular season. However, that isn’t stopping innovative work arounds for those spots that might still plan to have safe and contained Halloween fun.

The Wicked Makers posted a video to their YouTube channel that teaches you how to make a simple DIY device that could assist in social distancing.

The candy slide looks really easy to make and consists of PVC pipe, glue, cheesecloth, paint and skeleton decorations.

“In the time of COVID-19, everyone is worried how much Halloween will be affected. A lot of towns and even some states are recommending people don’t go trick or treating or at best, stay socially distanced from other people when they do. That’s why we came up with a simple DIY Halloween prop that’ll help let you enjoy the night from a safe 6 feet away.” The Wicked Makers posted on their channel.

If anything, building a fun DIY like this with your friends or family might just make for seasonal spooky fun, even if you have to wait till a safer time to use it.
