First Look at ‘Halloween Kills’ Tommy Doyle

We all knew that Anthony Michael Hall would bring the pivotal character of Halloween back to the franchise. What we didn’t know is that Hall Tommy Doyle would come back looking like a total badass in the first shot from Halloween Kills.

Anthony Michael Hall, took to his Instagram to share the image, but since its posting it has been removed completely. In the photo we see a grizzled Tommy Doyle compete with baseball bat slung over his shoulder. We can assume he will use said bat to beat the heck out of Michael Myers at some point or points in the film.

The writers, David Gordon Green and Danny McBride have described the synopsis of Halloween Kills as:

“It takes place the same night, picking up where the last movie ended… Events in the film bring together a lot of characters who were in the 1978 film who we didn’t see last time. They gather to try, once and for all, to take down Michael, to stop this madman.”

Between Tommy Doyle and Laurie Strode and her family, Michael has a lot to go up against. He may begin to wish he had some sort of role in the Cult of Thorn just for backup’s sake. Luckily, from what we know, all of that convoluted narrative from the later Halloween films will have absolutely nothing to do with this entry.
