Just when you thought things couldn’t get any weirder surrounding notorious cult leader Charles Manson’s death, Zak Bagans gets involved.  According to TMZ, Bagans purchased several Manson’s personal items from prison including the dead man’s dentures.

If it were anyone else’s stuff, I’d spend a little time talking about disrespecting the dead, but considering this is Charles Manson we’re talking about I’m going to let it slide.

The lead investigator of the popular paranormal investigation show “Ghost Adventures” also purchased Manson’s handmade pentagram necklace and various other arts and crafts the infamous prisoner made while in Corcoran State Prison.  Manson only died last week, and one has to wonder just how fast Bagans had to move in order to acquire the items, though it’s possible that Bagans had purchased them beforehand through various unnamed sources.

In fact, Bagans said, the dentures were actually stolen from Manson in 2010 by a fellow Corcoran inmate.  He sent Manson a letter telling him that he had them and Manson supposedly wrote back begging for their return.  Obviously, the inmate held onto them and he was able to procure them and the letter, itself.

The items will be on display at Bagans’ Haunted museum in Las Vegas alongside a host of other macabre memorabilia including Jack Kevorkian’s van and the famed Dybbuk box.  The Haunted Museum is open Mondays through Saturdays 1 pm to 9 pm.  You must be 16 years or older to enter the museum and tickets are $34 each.
