What’s this? What’s This? What’s this, Tim Burton fans? There has been a recent string of haunts getting a bit creative in order to maintain social distancing, and its lead to some pretty innovative attractions. The latest is a chance to drive-through Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Freeform’s Halloween House is back this year, with some really cool ideas. In fact this year they have re-titled their usual moniker of “Halloween House” to The Halloween Road. The road is themed alongside Freeform’s 31 Days of Halloween, meaning certain movies currently scheduled for Freeform’s lineup will be reflected on The Haunted Road. Of course, that means you will get The Nightmare Before Christmas experience, but it doesn’t stop there. Other parts of the drive through are built to mirror scenes from Hocus Pocus and Ghostbusters.
“Freeform’s 31 Nights of Halloween returns! And this year we’re taking our annual Halloween event on road, quiet literally!… Cause, even ghosts need to stay socially distant. It’s an outdoor immersive experience all behind the wheel of your car! Drive-thru(if your dare) the world of “Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas”, Hocus Pocus, Ghostbuster, and other spooktacular surprises filled with games, performance, and prizes.”
That’s not all that The Halloween Road has up its spooky sleeves though. In addition there will be trick or treating, and a host of actors to bring the frights and share the candy.
The whole shindig goes down at Heritage Square Museum, in Los Angeles California from October 2-4. Tickets are free and expected to go really fast. So, you best be waiting on September 12th at 10 a.m. PST to secure yours.
