This year is a big one for the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise, as we are currently celebrating the 30th birthday of the horror icon it introduced. Yes, it’s been 30 years since Freddy Krueger debuted on the big screen, and creator Wes Craven has been celebrating right alongside all the fans.
In addition to various festivities on his social media accounts, which have included insider fun facts about the original film, Craven has also just launched his own line of Nightmare on Elm Street t-shirts, which he himself designed. Four shirts comprise the line, each of them featuring Craven’s signature.
After so many years of fans making and selling their own unlicensed Freddy shirts, it’s pretty cool to see Craven finally getting in on the fun. Each shirt is selling for $25, and you can grab them over on Wes Craven’s official website.
