You’re probably not at iHorror for politics, so sorry about that. But come on, this is Clive.
Clive Barker interviews are almost always fun to watch, but this gem from Bill Maher’s old show Politically Incorrect from 1997 is something special. The horror icon appeared with musician Sophie B. Hawkins (you know, of “Damn I Wish I Was Your Lover” fame), Wil Shriner, and Christine O’Donnell.
The whole conversation is interesting enough given the current political climate, but listening to Barker and ultra-Christian O’Donnell go back and forth is downright fun.

One of my personal favorite Barker quotes from the segment:
“My chats with Jesus say that he’s very comfortable with me being gay. Very comfortable.”
We all know and love Barker for his wonderful mind and artistry in horror and fantasy, but this gives us a semi-rare look at the man talking about some real issues.
Barker has also appeared on Maher’s current show “Real Time” alongside Ann Coulter.
