The release date for Netflix and Mike Flanagan’s The Haunting of Bly Manor is drawing ever closer, and the streaming service has released an all new trailer to give us a better glimpse on what the new series has in store.
Henry James’s classic The Turn of the Screw takes center stage in the new season which tells the story of a nanny who takes a job at a sprawling estate to care for two young children. There’s more to Bly than meets the eye, however, and she soon finds herself in the middle of a terrifying mystery that will drive her to the brink of insanity.
The series draws upon several of James’s tales to fill out the the story that will no doubt be just as atmospheric and mind-bending as Flanagan’s take on The Haunting of Hill House.
Victoria Pedretti, Henry Thomas, Kate Siegel and Oliver Jackson-Cohen return to the series along with Alex Essoe (Doctor Sleep), Tahira Sharif (Casualty), T’Nia Miller (Obey), and Rahul Kohli (iZombie).
The trailer has everything you need to get ready. A gorgeous home, terrifying children, and an amazing orchestral revamp of Motley Crue’s “Home Sweet Home.”
