Body Cam, a new horror-thriller written by Nicholas McCarthy (At the Devil’s Door) and Richmond Riedel (Target Practice) and directed by Malik Vitthal (Imperial Dreams),  is headed for purchase on digital streaming platforms  on May 19, 2020 followed by rent on demand on June 2nd and a DVD release on July 14, 2020.

The film stars Mary J. Blige (The Umbrella Academy) as a cop whose partner is killed during a routine traffic stop. She soon discovers that she is the only one who can view the footage of the incident. As more attacks occur and the body count rises, she sets out to understand the supernatural force behind the killings.

Blige is joined by co-stars Nat Wolff (Paper Towns), Theo Rossi (Sons of Anarchy), Anika Noni Rose (Dreamgirls), David Zayas (Dexter), and Ian Casselberry (Get Out).

The trailer for the new film packs a serious punch, and Body Cam looks like it could be an intense ride.

The film is distributed by Paramount Players and will be available on multiple platforms including Apple TV, Vudu, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play, Microsoft Movies & TV, Sony PlayStation Video, and FandangoNOW.
