It might not be a great year for film, but music is thriving. Tuesday, Marilyn Manson shared an image on his socials teasing something new. The post simply stated “Wednesday, 9 am PST.” Obviously, a sign Manson was going to release something new and we were here for it.
We also reported back in Feb. that Marilyn Manson was up to something new due to his cryptic social posts that read “Omnes surdus es et nunc audite me” translated to “All deaf here me now.” Obviously, a lead up to this new material.
Other than that, we haven’t heard much from Manson since, 2017’s full length Heaven Upside Down on Loma Vista Records.
The collaborations with both Shooter Jennings and A$AP Ferg are interesting bedfellows on this one and point to the rad new approach of “We are chaos.” It’s an interesting sound that is undoubtedly classic Manson with a new razor sonic edge tearing through it.
