After taking a little break from horror these past few years, M. Night Shyamalan returns with The Visit, set for theatrical release in September. But before that he’s got a TV series on the way, which takes us into the mysterious world of Wayward Pines.

In the mini-series, which Shyamalan executive produced, Matt Dillon plays a U.S. Secret Service agent who goes to Wayward Pines, Idaho in search of two federal agents who have gone missing in the bucolic town. He soon learns that he may never get out of Wayward Pines alive.

The 10-episode limited series was co-developed by Shyamalan, who also directed the pilot. Though Wayward Pines wasn’t going to debut on Fox until May 14th, the network decided to unveil the first episode nearly a month early, putting it up for viewing on their website today.

So if you want to check out Wayward Pines Episode 1, head over to Fox’s website and get to streaming. And check out the show’s trailer below, if you want just a small taste of the horror.
