A murdered man is seemingly back for revenge in the new trailer for Don’t Look Back from writer/director Jeffrey Reddick. The film was previously titled Good Samaritan.

Kourtney Bell stars as Caitlin, a young woman who witnesses a man being brutally beaten to death along with a group of strangers in a park. None of the witnesses attempt to help the man, and some even go so far as to film the deadly attack. Soon, the witnesses begin to die and Caitlin finds herself locked in a terrifying mystery.

Is a living person killing them, or are they being murdered by the spirit of the man whose death they let happen?

It’s a timely and pointed subject in a day and age where similar attacks and worse are pasted across social media by onlookers.

Bell is joined onscreen by Will Stout (Daredevil), Skyler Hart (The X Species), Jeremy Holm (The Ranger), Jaqueline Fleming (The Quad), Amanda Grace Benitez (School of Rock), Damon Lipari (The Guardian), and Han Soto (The Purge series).

This is Reddick’s first time in the director’s chair for a feature film, though he is well known for his writing credits including the original Final Destination along with The Final Wish and the sleep paralysis horror film Dead Awake.

Don’t Look Back is distributed by Gravitas Ventures and Kamikaze Dogfight, and is scheduled for release on October 16, 2020 in theaters and on video on demand streaming services.
