Art – Terrifier (2017)
Reviving the slasher genre with (lots!) of new blood, Art is the new sensation of horror. Standing tall among horror titans such as Jason, Freddy, and Chucky, Art already proves his merited viciousness from the very start of the film.
Set on Halloween night, Art takes his time to spill guts and shred faces in malevolent celebration of the macabre. Honestly, I don’t think Halloween has anything to do with his violent behavior. I get a feeling he would do this no matter what night it happened to be. Then again, in one unforgettable scene, Art does turn a human head into a glowing Jack-o-Lantern. Now that’s AWESOME!
His legacy is one of blood, pain, and terror. I can’t get into too much here without giving away spoilers. Take it from your pal Manic and treat yourself. Terrifier is now on Netflix and is the perfect way to get into the Halloween spirit.
It’s a modern slasher film and as a slasher fanatic, I couldn’t be happier! But not only is this a slasher film, but the killer is a clown! We have a killer clown slasher movie here, friends! And it works in all the best ways possible.
With just one film to stand behind, this evil clown has already secured his bloodied legacy among foundations of horror history. Will we see more of this evil face? Time will tell.
But wait! There’s still much more to see.
