We all go a little mad sometimes, you guys. Especially when it comes to Alfred Hitchcock collections and the collecting there of. I’m sure there are some of you out there like myself who have collected a number of these sets through a number of different formats. Each great in their own little ways. However, the upcoming Alfred Hitchcock Classics Collection is going to be one that is a must own. Primarily for its original uncut version of Psycho. Yea, a total first time ever release on that one.

The entire set is in 4k and comes with Rear Window, Vertigo, The Birds and Psycho. Each with a ton of features and cool collectibles.

The official description for the set reads like this:

Universally recognized as the Master of Suspense, the legendary Alfred Hitchcock directed some of cinema’s most thrilling and unforgettable classics. The ALFRED HITCHCOCK CLASSICS COLLECTION features four iconic films from the acclaimed director’s illustrious career including Rear Window, Vertigo, Psycho and The Birds in stunning 4K resolution. Starring Hollywood favorites such as James Stewart, Grace Kelly, Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh, Tippi Hedren, Kim Novak and Rod Taylor, this essential collection features hours of bonus features as well as the original uncut version of Psycho for the first time ever. This collection with collectible Discbook packaging includes hours of bonus features such as documentaries, expert commentaries, interviews, screen tests and much more!

I’m totally onboard with this set. Of course, I would love the inclusion of Frenzy and Rope but its hard to argue with that uncut Psycho in 4k.

The entire Alfred Hitchcock Classics Collection hits store shelves beginning Sept. 8.

Are you guys going to be adding this one to the collection? Also how freaking exciting is this whole Psycho uncut? Let us know your thoughts and your favorite Hitchcock film in the comments section.
