Say your prayers – The Nun is coming. And based on this newest teaser trailer, it’s going to be scary as Hell.
The official Twitter account for The Nun posted a short fifteen-second clip on Sunday, but it’s long enough to fit in one serious scare. Watch it below. But keep reading! There’s some new information after this short commercial break.

Director Corin Hardy recently spoke with EW about what he considers to be the movie’s “secret weapon.” No, it’s not the nun herself – that wouldn’t be a secret – but a cast member named Jonas Bloquet.
Hardy had this to say about the actor:
“I think he’s going to be a big star … He’s sort of the secret weapon of this film in a way. He was in Paul Verhoeven’s Elle, and he plays Frenchie, who’s this delivery man in the movie. He’s the guy that discovers the body of the nun at the start. He’s part of what is a trio, really. We talk a lot about Father Burke (Bichir) and Sister Irene (Farmiga), but it’s also Frenchie who goes with them. He’s like the guy that takes them on their journey.”
Hardy has seemed exceptionally enthusiastic about every detail regarding the film thus far, so it’s safe to say that if The Nun does not meet your expectations, it’s not for a lack of trying. To get familiar with Hardy’s work, I strongly recommend that you check out The Hallow to see what the man is capable of. It remains one of the freshest and most appealing horror movies of the decade in my not-so-humble opinion.

The Nun will be released on September 7th. Excited? You should be.
