Zac Efron is putting his killer charm to good use with his portrayal of the charismatic murderer Ted Bundy in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile. The film – which will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival – has received its first official trailer, giving us a new live-action look at the partial bio-pic.
Directed by Joe Berlinger (Brother’s Keeper), Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile chronicles the crimes of Ted Bundy from the perspective of his longtime girlfriend, Elizabeth Kloepfer (Lily Collins, Okja), who refused to believe the truth about him for years.
Berlinger has doubled-down on his knowledge surrounding the now infamous killer; he also recently served as director and executive producer on the four-hour Netflix Original documentary, Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes.
