The anticipated horror-comedy MOM AND DAD had its World Premiere at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival and U.S. Premiere at Fantastic Fest 2017 to positive reviews. The trailer depicts a horror-comedy where parents are abruptly turning against their children, with a sprinkle of black comedy. Immediately I thought of Village of The Damned or Children of The Corn but in reverse! This film looks like a ton of fun, but don’t take my word for it, check out the trailer below with Nicolas Cage and Selma Blair.
MOM AND DAD stars Oscar winner Nicolas Cage (Leaving Las Vegas, Raising Arizona), Selma Blair (Hellboy, Cruel Intentions), Anne Winters (“13 Reasons Why,” #RealityHigh), and Zackary Arthur (“Transparent,” The 5th Wave). Written and directed by Brian Taylor (Crank, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance), the film marks his first solo effort as a writer.
SYNOPSIS: Nicolas Cage and Selma Blair star in this pitch-black horror-comedy about a worldwide mass hysteria where, for 24 brutal hours, parents turn violently against their own children.
Momentum Pictures will be releasing MOM AND DAD in select Theaters, VOD, and Digital HD on January 19th.
