Netflix has released a last-minute trailer for their upcoming Black Mirror special, Bandersnatch, which lands on the streaming platform on December 28th. Fans of the innovative, technologically focused series believe that – this time – there may be a twist.
As reported by Indiewire, Bandersnatch allegedly has 312 minutes of footage – well over the announced run time of 90 minutes. Certainly, with all that extra footage available, there would be plenty of options for alternate endings.
BThe plot describes a twisted tale of terror:
In 1984, a young programmer begins to question reality as he adapts a sprawling fantasy novel into a video game and soon faces a mind-mangling challenge. Welcome back.
Directed by David Slade (30 Days of Night, Hannibal, Hard Candy), Bandersnatch stars Fionn Whitehead (Dunkirk), Will Poulter (The Maze Runner), Alice Lowe (Prevenge), and Asim Chaudhry (People Just Do Nothing)
Check out the trailer and poster below, and tune in on Friday December 28th to see how the story unfolds.
