We can probably all agree that Christmas is a heck of a lot scarier than Halloween, right? I mean the idea of dressing up, watching horror movies and eating candy is nowhere as scary as a house full of in-laws. Toys of Terror is going coming to Halloween this year to remind you of just that. Christmas is creepy, y’all.
The official Toys of Terror synopsis goes like this:
“It’s not all fun and games when the Cashman family arrives at the old orphanage where they’ll be spending their Christmas getaway. But the discovery of a stash of old toys in an abandoned playroom seems to turn things around, as kids Franklin, Zoe, and Alicia take to them instantly. But as the kids begin to act stranger and stranger and refuse to part with their new playthings, their nanny Rose begins to suspect that the toys themselves might be alive, and manipulating the whole family. As the body count rises, and the family refuses to heed her warnings, it’s up to Rose to save everyone, before history starts repeating itself and traps them there forever.”
Toys of Terror drops onto digital October 27, 2020 and on Blu-Ray and DVD January 19, 2021.
