What’s up, Tightwads! Are you ready for another batch of free movies? I hope your answer was “yes,” because here they come!

The Prowler (1981), courtesy Graduation)
The Prowler
An early entry into the golden age of the slasher movie, The Prowler is the story of a psychotic WWII veteran who, after being jilted by his lover in 1945, goes on a murder spree. Thirty-five years later, in 1980, the murders start up again, with everyone wondering if the killer could possibly be the same one from so long ago.
The Prowler was directed in 1981 by Joseph Zito, who would go on to make Chuck Norris action movies like Missing in Action and Invasion U.S.A. It has all of the ingredients of a classic slasher: a creepy killer with a backstory, a high body count of oversexed teenagers, and lots of blood. It’s also got Lawrence Tierney. Check out The Prowler here on Vudu.

The Whispering Man (2019), courtesy Wild Eye Entertainment.
The Whispering Man
The Whispering Man is a 2019 movie about a man who inherits a creepy painting from his grandfather. Upon receiving his heirloom, the man starts noticing strange and unexplainable things happening. And it’s all captured through the magic of Found Footage.
Based upon its title alone, The Whispering Man is bound to get lumped in with movie like Slender Man and The Bye Bye Man. And it kind of belongs there. Like many found footage films, it’s fun, but disposable. If you’re up for that, you can find The Whispering Man right here at TubiTV.

Honeymoon (2014), courtesy Magnet Releasing.
Honeymoon
Honeymoon is a 2014 creeper about a newlywed couple who goes to a lake house for their, well, honeymoon. The husband soon finds his wife acting strangely, doing things like talking to herself and sleepwalking. Before long, he learns that sinister things are afoot.
Honeymoon is a moody and atmospheric movie, and it’s a refreshing change from the typical slasher movie that usually is set at a lake house. Rose Leslie and Harry Treadaway play the happy couple. Check out Honeymoon right here at Popcornflix.

Daddy’s Little Girl (2014), courtesy Breaking Glass Pictures.
Daddy’s Little Girl
Daddy’s Little Girl is a 2014 movie about a single father whose daughter is kidnapped and killed. When the father learns who is responsible, he must decide whether to let the wheels of justice grind, or to take matters into his own hands.
This disturbing little revenge movie is inspired by actual events, but it’s actually fictional. That doesn’t make it any less uncomfortable to watch, though. Catch Daddy’s Little Girl here at TubiTV.

Berserk (1967), courtesy Columbia Pictures.
Berserk
Berserk stars Joan Crawford as the owner/ringmaster of a travelling circus. Unfortunately for her, there is a murderer amongst her troupe who is killing off her performers one by one.
This 1967 schlocker is Joan Crawford at her most Joan Crawford-y. It’s an effective mystery thriller, but it’s also campy as hell. And it’s got just enough of a jealous lover B-story for Crawford to have plenty to do. Have a look at Berserk here at Crackle.
