Hey Tightwads! How’s your week going? Good or bad, let’s make it better by moving this batch of free movies from iHorror to your eyeholes.
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
Killer Klowns from Outer Space is pretty much exactly the movie that it purports to be. This 1988 kult klassic is about an alien invasion of earth that arrives in the form of a bunch of klowns that wreak havoc with magic tricks, balloons animals, and kotton kandy.
Plot-wise, Killer Klowns from Outer Space is a typical alien conquest movie. The klowns just make it a whole lot more fun than the average one. It’s also got a righteous punk rock theme song courtesy of The Dickies. Chuckle along with Killer Klowns from Outer Space righte here at TubiTV.
Bram Stoker’s Dracula
A couple of weeks ago, Tightwad Terror Tuesday brought you Wolf, one of the nineties Universal Monsters adaptations, claiming that it was less pretentious than Bram Stoker’s Dracula. This week, we’ll let you decide for yourself by showing you Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
This 1992 retelling of the famous story is more faithful to Stoker’s novel than the old Bela Lugosi version, which means that it drags a bit in some of the more romantic places. However, Francis Ford Coppola’s direction is, for better or worse, impeccable, and the star-studded cast includes Wynona Ryder, Keanu Reeves, Cary Elwes, Anthony Hopkins, and, in the title role, Gary Oldman. Take a bit out of Bram Stoker’s Dracula right here at Crackle.
Scare Zone is about a stripmall haunted house that opens up every year for three days only, culminating in a Halloween horror show. This year, however, a crazed killer is making the staged horror a little too real.
This 2009 is a standard- yet fun – modern slasher that takes advantage of the current obsession with Halloween haunts. There’s nothing new here, but it’s a fun way to kill ninety minutes (pun intended). Check out Scare Zone right here at Vudu.
Boa vs. Python
And speaking of standard – Boa vs. Python is exactly what it sounds like it would be. A giant python gets loose in the city, and the government sends in a genetically engineered boa constrictor to bring it down. Of course, it’s a sci-fi original movie.
This 2004 hi-tech creature feature is as advertised; it’s just a bunch of brainless fun. It’s probably best enjoyed in a room full of friends, so invite everyone over, dim the lights and pop some popcorn, and catch Boa vs. Python right here at Crackle.
Harbinger Down is about a crew of graduate researchers who are investigating the effects of global warming on Beluga whales in the Bering Sea. Mucho ecological, Pancho, mucho ecological. Unfortunately for the students, they come across the wreckage of a Soviet space probe that was experimenting with quickly mutating organisms. And the unfriendly organisms are still alive.
This 2015 flick is another creature feature, but it’s a bit more intelligent than Boa vs. Python. It also stars Lance Henriksen, so the humans do stand a fighting chance against the hostile organisms. See Harbinger Down here at TubiTV.
