Hey Tightwads! Ready for another batch of free movies? Well, ready or not, here they come!
Teeth is a 2007 movie about a chaste high school girl who discovers that she has an unusual medical condition called Vagina Dentata, which basically means that she has teeth in her lady parts. She turns this curse into a blessing as she deals with all of the aggressive and overbearing males in her life. Teeth is billed as a horror comedy, but men probably won’t laugh too hard over it – they’ll be too busy squirming. Women should find it hysterical, though. It’s a modern classic that should be seen by everyone at least once, so head over here to TubiTV and check it out.
Aliens vs. Predator Requiem
Just a few weeks ago, Tightwad Terror Tuesday brought you AVP: Alien vs. Predator. Now, we’ve got the 2007 sequel, Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem. The concept is the same as the first, and is pretty self-explanatory; the Predators from the Predator franchise do battle with the Aliens from the Alien franchise. This time, the fight takes place near a small mountain town in Colorado, and, of course, humans get in the middle of it. Truthfully, Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem is even worse than the first movie, and that one isn’t all that great. But, for fans who like a little cheese with their crossover movies, it’ll hit the spot. See Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem right here at Crackle.
A clever variation on the Frankenstein mythos, May is about a lonely girl who kills her friends and acquaintances in order to make a life size doll out of the different body parts. This 2002 offering is one of director Lucky McKee’s earliest movies, and while it’s not one of his strongest movies, his filmmaking promise and prowess is on full display. May stars McKee muse Angela Bettis in the title role, and also features Anna Faris and Jeremy Sisto. Catch May right here at TubiTV.
Inhuman Resources is about six people who are held captive by an escaped serial killer. Each captive had some role in the killer’s conviction, and he “employs” them to help prove his innocence, with any insubordination amongst them resulting in punishment. Made in 2012, Inhuman Resources is a fine example of a modern low budget horror movie; it is slick and well made, with an interesting premise and a handful of almost-but-not-quite recognizable stars, unless you count a cameo from Tom Savini (who also did the makeup effects, because of course he did). You can find Inhuman Resources here at Vudu.
Hellhole is a 1985 frightfest about a young woman who gets amnesia after witnessing her mother’s murder. She is committed to a mental hospital, and the killer shows up there, posing as an orderly, to finish the job that he started. The killer is not the only villain in the asylum, though; the head doctor uses his patients as lab rats for his insane experiments. This fun little sanitarium movie stars Ray Sharkey, Judy Landers, Mary Woronov, Robert Z’Dar, Richard Cox, and Marjoe Gortner. Watch Hellhole right here at ShoutFactoryTV.
