Fear Chamber is a 1968 Mexican movie about a group of scientists who find a rock that seems to be alive. They discover that the rock feeds on human fear, so in order to keep it alive, they build a “fear chamber” where they sacrifice young girls that they have kidnapped. Fear Chamber is one of the unsung Boris Karloff movies, so fans of the big guy will be especially into it. Fun fact: Karloff’s scenes were shot in America with one director (Jack Hill) while the rest of the movie was shot in Mexico City with another (Juan Ibáñez).
