Sharkansas Women’s Prison Massacre
Sharkansas Women’s Prison Massacre is about a group of female prisoners that is sent on a work detail in an Arkansas swamp. Unfortunately for them, the swamp is overrun by monster sharks that have been set free by a fracking accident. As if the title alone wasn’t enough to clue you in, all you really need to know about this one is that it was a 2015 SyFy original. It was also directed by Jim Wynorski, and the cast is led by Traci Lords, Dominique Swain, and Christine Nguyen. Check out Sharkansas Women’s Prison Massacre – if you dare – right here at ShoutFactoryTV.
Ink takes place in a world where the physical manifestations of dreams and nightmares constantly battle for control of people’s minds. A father must save his daughter from a creature named Ink who wants to use her soul to become a nightmare creator. Ink is a pretty cool 2009 gateway fantasy/horror movie that will appeal to adults just as much (if not more) than it does to children. Have a look at Ink right here at TubiTV.
Also made in 2009, Carriers is a post-apocalyptic fable about four young people who are trying to keep one step ahead of a viral outbreak that has devastated the world. When they encounter a man and his daughter who need their help, they learn that the disease may be the least of their problems. Carriers is one of those “man is the monster” moral quandary movies. The cast includes Chris Pine, Piper Perabo, Christopher Meloni, and Kiernan Shipka. You can find Carriers right here at Vudu.
Faults is a 2014 movie about a man who is hired to abduct and deprogram a young woman who is involved in a cult. The session is complicated by the girl’s meddling parents and the fact that the cult may not be exactly what the deprogrammer believes it to be. Faults is more of a comic mystery than a horror movie, but it has some good twists and turns, and is shocking enough for even the hardest of horror fans. Mary Elizabeth Winstead stars as the (soon to be ex-) cult member. If you’re in the mood for a less brutal telling of Jackals, Faults waits for you right here at Popcornflix.
Evidence of a Haunting
Evidence of a Haunting is about a group of ghost hunters who document three different cases of paranormal activity, each more horrifying than the last. Yes, this 2010 offering is a found footage flick, but it’s also an anthology movie so it’s got that going for it. If that sounds like your thing, you can catch Evidence of a Haunting here at Viewster.
