Greetings, Tightwads! Since your money’s probably all tied up in Halloween decorations and costumes, and you still need your horror fix, iHorror has got you covered with another batch of free movies. Come and get ‘em…
Ms .45 is about a mute seamstress in New York City who is raped, not once, but twice. She fights back against her second assailant…and continues her fight after she loses her grip on reality by shooting men all over the streets of Manhattan. This stylish 1981 exploitation movie is the epitome of a revenge thriller, and doesn’t pretend to be much else. Zoë Lund stars in the lead role, and director Abel Ferrara curiously plays the woman’s first attacker. Check out Ms .45 here at TubiTV.
A couple years ago, Tightwad Terror Tuesday hooked you up with the original Hobgoblins. Now, we’ve got the sequel, appropriately entitled Hobgoblins 2. This 2009 campfest picks up twenty years after Hobgoblins and finds the cute little aliens still tormenting the same group of young people, now older people, as they did in the first movie. Hobgoblins 2 is even worse than Hobgoblins, but it embraces that fact with a fun grindhouse aesthetic and a retro vibe. Have a look at Hobgoblins 2 right here at Vudu.
Crush the Skull
Crush the Skull is a 2015 movie about four thieves who break into a house. Once inside, they realize that they have stumbled into a trap, and they are now stuck in the lair of a ruthless serial killer. This under-the-radar home-invasion-gone-wrong flick is full of twists and surprises, and it also features the greatest instance of title-spoken-in-movie in recent memory. Catch Crush the Skull here at PopcornFlix.
Not to be confused with the Alfred Hitchcock joint of the same name from the seventies, Frenzy is a 1945 film about a man who hires a psychic to hold a séance in order to discover what happened to his girlfriend who disappeared after their affair was discovered by her husband. This economical little thriller is moody and atmospheric, so fans of forties horror will most likely be into it. Find Frenzy here at DailyMotion.
So I Married An Axe Murderer
This one is more of a traditional comedy, but there’s an axe murderer, so we’re going to allow it. As one might expect, So I Married an Axe Murderer is about a man who begins to suspect that his new wife is a notorious serial killer who murders her husbands shortly after marrying them. This 1993 comedy is a vehicle for Mike Myers, but also features support roles from Anthony LaPaglia, Amanda Plummer, Debi Mazar, Phil Hartman, and Steven Wright. If you’re in the mood for some laughs, you can see So I Married an Axe Murderer right here at Crackle.
