Robert Palmer Watkins has gotten a promotion on AMC’s The Walking Dead: World Beyond.
The second spin-off/standalone series in the The Walking Dead universe focuses on the first generation of children raised in a world ravaged by the fallout of the zombie apocalypse, the repercussions of which extend far beyond the creatures themselves. The coming-of-age series focuses on two sisters who set out on a quest with two of their friends that will take them through a world where enemies and friends become increasingly difficult to tell apart and where the limits of what they are willing to do are pushed at every turn.
Watkins guest starred in the first season of The Walking Dead: World Beyond as Lieutenant Frank Newton. In season two, his role has been upgraded to a recurring character.
The actor previously appeared on General Hospital as Dillon Quartermane, appearing in almost 200 episodes from 2015-2017. More recently, he was seen in Stay, Last Three Days, and The Nanny Murders.
He joins a class that boasts a host of top-notch talent including Julia Ormond, Joe Holt, Nico Tortorella, Jelani Alladin, and Nicolas Cantu.
