From the Press Release:
Ryan Reynolds (upcoming Mississippi Grind, The Proposal) plays a simple, likable guy trying to do the right thing with the help of his talking pets – but accidentally winds up as a serial killer – in the black comedy The Voices, arriving on Blu-ray (plus Digital HD), DVD (plus Digital), and Digital HD April 7th from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. The film is currently available via On Demand.

Directed by Marjane Satrapi (Persepolis) and written by Michael R. Perry (Paranormal Activity 2), the “meticulously crafted genre-bending film” (Indiewire) also stars Gemma Arterton (Runner, Runner; Quantum of Solace), Anna Kendrick (Pitch Perfect, Into the Woods), and Oscar nominee Jacki Weaver (Best Supporting Actress, Silver Linings Playbook, 2012). The Voices was a favorite at the Sundance Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival in 2014.

Jerry (Reynolds) is that chipper guy clocking the nine-to-five at a bathtub factory with the offbeat charm of anyone who could use a few friends. With the help of his court-appointed psychiatrist (Weaver), he pursues his office crush (Arterton). However, the relationship takes a sudden, murderous turn after she stands him up for a date. Guided by his evil talking cat and benevolent talking dog, Jerry must decide whether to keep striving for normalcy or indulge in a much more sinister path.
