Little Monsters

Abe Forsythe’s Little Monsters made big waves at Sundance this year when it found itself scooped up by NEON and Hulu.

Not to be confused with the 1989 film starring Howie Mandel and Fred Savage, the director’s zombie comedy stars Lupita Nyong’o (Us), Josh Gad (Beauty and the Beast), and Alexander England (Alien: Covenant) as a teacher, children’s entertainer, and washed-up musician respectively who find themselves in the midst of a zombie outbreak while on a field trip with a class of elementary school students.

The film is set for release in the UK and Ireland in November but has yet to receive an American release date.

In the meantime, however, they have released an exciting red band trailer to give us a glimpse of what’s waiting for us when it finally hits theaters, and it appears they’ve pulled out all the stops.

The comedy is real and they’re not holding back on the gore either.

With this release on the horizon and the highly anticipated Zombieland: Double Tap on its way as well, 2019 could very well be the year of the zom-com, and we are totally here for it!

Check out the red band trailer below, and let us know if you’ll be watching Little Monsters!
