This past Thursday the cast and crew were in attendance for the premiere of the new horror thriller The Ice Cream Truck at the Laemmle’s Ahrya Fine Arts Theatre in Beverly Hills, California. The cast & crew gathered and lined the sidewalk of Wilshire Blvd for photo opportunities; the place was buzzing with laughter and smiles, and everyone had a spectacular time. The night ended with an excellent Q&A that took the audience behind the scenes of the film along with the indie world. Right before the event ended questions were asked of the audience, two brothers, who are both filmmakers, hit the nail on the head when describing the film, it was quite touching and served as the perfect close out for the evening.

“I just want to say to all of you, thank you very much for bringing style back into the horror film and bringing old school horror back on the screen. As a student of the genre you know you see everything, you run the spectrum. You’ve been through slasher, torture porn, to paranormal activity but finally to sit in an old school movie house and watch a movie with an 80s’ homage, 70s’ homage feeling to it, with good story, this gentleman here said it, ‘with good build up.’ You can’t ask for anything more that’s the cornucopia of horror, and I applaud you, thank you very much.”

The Ice Cream Truck has been receiving rave reviews from around the globe, check out ours by clicking here.

The Ice Cream Truck is now available on VOD platforms from Uncork’d Entertainment.
