‘The Hunt’ Trailer Unleashes The Controversy

Trey Hilburn IIIMovie Trailers, News2 Comments

Can’t get through 2019’s history without seeing a dog eared page in the book of controversy titled The Hunt. This film couldn’t have had a worse release date considering its commentary. Ultimately,  since it was released right around a tragic wave of shootings in the United States, the film was shelved.

Originally, The Hunt came with a release date tag of Sept. 27, but that has now been pushed to that of March 13.

The Hunt synopsis goes like this:

Twelve strangers wake up in a clearing. They don’t know where they are, or how they got there. They don’t know they’ve been chosen… for a very specific purpose… The Hunt.

I’m glad that we are finally going to see The Hunt. And you know, as controversial as it has become, I’m sure we are going to find out that its just another movie with some violence and some timely commentary. No more or less than we have all seen before.

The Blumhouse film is directed by Craig Zobel and from a screenplay by Nick Cuse and Damon Lindelof.

What do you guys think? Think The Hunt should have been shelved? Are you happy to see it finally getting a release? Let us know in the comments section.
