More bad news on the horror movie release front. Yesterday, we got the news that both Candyman and Halloween Kills have been delayed till next year. In addition, we know that the next chapter in The Purge franchise, The Forever Purge has also been put on hold till next year.
The Forever Purge was originally slated to release this week for a July 10 release but is now being pushed back a whole year for a July, 9 2021 date. This makes for a growing list of Blumhouse produced films that have all been given the push back bump.
The murdery franchise currently is enjoying a season 2 of its television series and four films. 2018 saw the release of the the last film with The First Purge.
Not much is known about the plot of this entry but we are guessing that the “Forever” in the title is a huge clue. Maybe, it points a Purge that isn’t just specific to one designated night. But, we will have to wait and see.
What do you think Purge, Halloween and Candyman fans? Are you as tired as we are over some of our favorite films getting the delayed treatment? Please, let us know in the comments section.
