‘The Dawn’ Starring ‘Clueless” Stacey Dash Gets U.S. Deal

The nunsploitation film, The Dawn secured domestic rights from Vertical Entertainment.

House of Manson director, Brandon Slagle’s film focuses on a woman whose family is murdered by her father, being sent to live in a convent. During her time in the convent, she begins to have some of the same experiences that drove her father to murder.

The Dawn marks a major genre departure for star, Stacey Dash who is well-known for her role in Clueless.

The film stars Stacey Dash (Clueless), Jonathan Bennett (Cake Wars), Devanny Pinn (Crossbreed) and Teilor Grubbs (Hawaii Five-O).

The Dawn will release in early 2020.
