It can’t rain all the time. If there isn’t one phrase that everyone living in 2020 should be reminded of constantly it’s probably that one. Cause, as bad as things get it can’t rain all the time. Eric Draven’s band Hang Man’s Joke knew it and so do we. For example, we have a bit of good news coming our way from The Crow.
Beginning December 1, HBO Max will see The Crow and two of its sequels coming to its streaming service. Brandon Lee’s 1994 gothic revenge film is an all-timer. Tragically, the Alex Proyas film saw the end of Brandon Lee’s life at the all too young age of 28. The film based on the James O’Barr graphic novel is a cult symbol onto itself.
The synopsis for The Crow goes like this:
“The night before his wedding, musician Eric Draven (Brandon Lee) and his fiancée are brutally murdered by members of a violent inner-city gang. On the anniversary of their death, Eric rises from the grave and assumes the gothic mantle of the Crow, a supernatural avenger. Tracking down the thugs responsible for the crimes and mercilessly murdering them, Eric eventually confronts head gangster Top Dollar (Michael Wincott) to complete his macabre mission.”
Both City of Angels and Wicked Prayer are both additionally going to land on HBO Max later on in December.
