Supernatural, the CW’s longest running series will reach the end of it rather spectacular journey at the end of next season according to a pair of videos on Jensen Ackles’s Instagram page.

Ackles along with Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins took a few moments to talk about the show and celebrate its run as a show that, at its core, is all about family.

Well, it’s official. One more round for the Winchester brothers. Though nothing ever really ends in Supernatural…does it? 😉

Supernatural began its run long before the CW was the CW. In fact, it’s the only series, according to Deadline, that has survived from the days of The WB.

Ackles and Padalecki have been with the show since episode one as brothers Sam and Dean Winchester who criss-cross the country fighting demons, ghosts, poltergeists, and saving the world on more than one occasion.

Collins joined the series as the angel Castiel, who has been both friend and foe throughout his extensive run as a series regular.

As you can see in the videos, these guys have loved working on the show and as they point out, is anything on Supernatural ever really over?

And so, the countdown has begun. What will happen? Will they all survive? Will the world survive?!

Season 15 of Supernatural will include 20 episodes, bringing the series total to 327!
