Millie Bobby Brown announced on Instagram that the latest season of Netflix’s Stranger Things has finally wrapped. What’s more, the announcement reads “One More Time,” prompting people to wonder what that means.
It’s been over a year since we last saw the gang. Pre-production started back in April– six months after season two premiered on the streaming service.
The reason the show takes so long to create is because filmmakers want to outdo the previous seasons.
“[the Duffer Brothers and Shawn Levy] understand the stakes are high,” said Netflix programming executive Cindy Holland. “They want to deliver something bigger and better than last year. I think it’s going to be a fantastic season. It will be worth the wait.”
Brown who plays Eleven on the show also posted a special goodbye to co-star Sadie Sink.
“As we said goodbye, I gave my best friend the biggest hug and told her I loved her so much. My sister forever.”
With its dedicated fanbase and critical praise, Stranger Things has become a modern-day horror television classic joining the ranks of The Twilight Zone and X-Files.
This latest season is estimated to hit Netflix in mid-2019.
