Now that Stranger Things 2 is a part of the Nielsen family, it left 4 million people glued to their television set per episode Deadline.com is reporting.
In what they are calling a “significant viewing event,” within the first 72-hours of its release, the streaming service led 15.8 million viewers in the Upside Down.
Nielsen reports that it recorded four million viewers per episode.
Breaking it down even further, the media watchdog said 361,000 of you binge-watched the entire series on the first day.
Since Nielsen has only just begun to count Netflix in their calculations, we don’t know if this breaks any record, but the numbers bolster our claim that 2017 is definitely the “Year of Horror.”
