And it’s probably not what/who you’re expecting.

After binging Netflix’s new series Stranger Things in just two sittings – I’m currently on my second watch, I’ll have you know – the process of not-so-patiently waiting for a toy line officially began. Over on Twitter, I’ve been pestering Funko to turn the show’s loveable characters into POP! vinyl toys and/or retro-style ReAction Figures, and though they’ve yet to reply to a single one of my tweets, I don’t plan on stopping any time soon. It’s not that I like to be annoying, it’s just that I can’t really sleep until I’m holding a Dustin toy in my hand. You understand. I know you understand.

Given the show’s incredible popularity, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if we do indeed see a line of Stranger Things toys in the very near future, but one crafty fan wasn’t keen on waiting. Toy customizer Dan Polydoris, who runs the company Death by Toys, just whipped up the world’s first Stranger Things toy, and as he himself describes, it’s the stupidest toy he’s ever made. We both agree and completely disagree, as we never knew that we needed a mini replica of Will’s bicycle until this very moment.

Yes, Dan turned Will’s bike into a toy, and it might be our new favorite thing.

I’m definitely on the Stranger Things bandwagon these days,” Dan wrote on the Death by Toys blog. “The show is an 80’s nostalgia dream come true. I know I’m not the only one obsessed with the show, but I’m probably the only one who took a metal dollhouse bicycle and made a “custom toy” (I use that term very loosely) of Will’s bike.”

Honestly, it’s beyond stupid, and I’m not even really sure why I’m posting it here,” he continued. “I guess I found it sort of funny, but I’ve been known to have a warped sense of humor.”

You’re our kinda human, Dan. Bless you.
