In a recent interview with Deadline, Wesley Snipes discussed returning to his blood-soaked glory days of swords, fangs and badass sunglasses in a possible return as Blade.

Snipes made the role famous back in 98′ when he took on the role of the Marvel comic book character who was half human and half vampire. In 2002, Snipes returned as Blade in the follow up by director, Guillermo Del Toro.

Now that Snipes is getting back in full form he has officially had a meeting with Marvel to discuss future plans for the day-walker. It appears that Marvel recently re-aquired the rights to Blade and are speculating what role the character will have in the Marvel universe. It is possible that he might go onto his own Netflix series similar to Daredevil or get his own Blade 4 film.

With all the recent crossovers that are happening in the Marvel-verse, I think it would be amazing if Blade made his appearance along side Benedict Cumberbatch in the upcoming Doctor Strange in a very awesome call-back to Marvel’s paranormal badass team, The Midnight Sons. For those that aren’t familiar with The Midnight Sons, think a paranormal version of The Avengers that features Blade, Ghost Rider, Morbius, Doctor Strange and a bunch of other awesome characters.

Would you like to see Blade get his own Netflix series? Would you like to see him partner with Doctor Strange? Is there another way you would like to see him come back? Let us know in the comments section.

Blade could return!
