The hilarious duo of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost will always be near and dear to horror fans’ hearts, thanks to their excellent 2004 zombie comedy Shaun of the Dead. You’ve got red on you, indeed.

While they don’t spend too much time in our genre anymore as actors, the two last year formed their own production company, called Stolen Picture.

During a recent interview with Variety, Pegg and Frost revealed some new details about Stolen Pictures’ upcoming first TV series and first movie, both of which are horror-based.

The TV series is called Truth Seekers, and is (naturally) a horror comedy. Truth Seekers revolves around a team of paranormal investigators looking into a new case of the unexplained in each episode.

Pegg and Frost’s movie is called Slaughterhouse Rulez, and is also a horror comedy. Slaughterhouse Rulez takes place at a well-mannered U.K. school, which sees its normal order thrown into chaos by the arrival of a subterranean demon.

Said demon is released due to a fracking company, which suggests that Slaughterhouse Rulez will also have a bit of a political edge. Neither Truth Seekers or Slaughterhouse Rulez has a release date yet, but iHorror will keep you updated as we learn more.
