Last month Shudder announced that it would be releasing an all-new animated episode of its Creepshow series just in time for Halloween. Today, the streaming platform dropped a trailer and all new key art for A Creepshow Animated Special, and you just have to see it to believe it!

The animated special will be available on Shudder in all its territories as well as on the AMC+ bundle beginning at 12:01 am ET, on October 29, 2020 and is comprised of two “episodes” directed by showrunner Greg Nicotero.

First up is “Survivor Type,” based on the story by Stephen King about a doctor/drug smuggler (voiced by Kiefer Sutherland) who finds himself in a terrifying situation when he’s stranded on a deserted island. With no hope of escape and no food, he does the unthinkable.

The second is based on a story by Joe Hill titled “Twittering from the Circus of the Dead.” Joey King (The Act) stars as a teenager whose family makes a stop at a demented circus on a cross-country road trip.

The trailer is super creepy with just that right touch of dark humor to make it a pitch perfect setup for this special. Take a look at it below as well as the artwork and let us know if you’ll be watching A Creepshow Animated Special on October 29th!
