Everyone’s favorite creepy streaming service is taking us behind the scenes of the most infamously haunted movie sets in a brand new docu-series titled Cursed Films, according to Dread Central.

We’ve all heard the stories of the supposed death curse of Poltergeist which some believe claimed the life of its young star, Heather O’Rourke. How about the repeated deaths, bad luck, and supernatural occurrences while filming The Exorcist?

And how about non-horror films?

Matt Damon and Michael Douglas both reported eerie occurrences, cold spots, flickering lights, and the phantom sent of men’s cologne while filming the Liberace biopic Behind the Candelabra. Halle Berry also reported strange happenings on the set of Introducing Dorothy Dandridge that seemed tied to one of Ms. Dandridge’s dresses which Berry wore in the film.

Cursed Films will dig into these types of stories and more as it seeks to shed light on the most terrifying movie sets of all time.

According to a press release:

Cursed Films will reveal the events that haunted these productions through interviews with experts, witnesses and the cast, directors and producers who lived through the real-life events. Were these films really cursed, as many believe, or just the victims of bad luck and bizarre circumstances?”

The new series will be written and directed by Jay Cheel.

While there is no word on exactly which film sets the series will highlight, it seems a sure bet that we’re in store for chilling true paranormal stories on Cursed Films!

Stay tuned to iHorror for more info as it becomes available!
