Season two of See is on its way to AppleTV+ with a premiere date set for Friday, August 27, 2021!
The series takes place in the far future where humankind has lost its sense of sight. In season two, Baba Voss (Jason Momoa) is fighting to reunite his family and get away from the war and politics that surround him, but the more he moves away, the deeper he gets sucked in, and the emergence of his nemesis brother threatens his family even more.
The second season will also introduce Dave Bautista (Army of the Dead) as Edo Voss, Baba Voss’s brother. New cast members also include Eden Epstein (Sweetbitter), Tom Mison (Watchmen), Hoon Lee (Warrior), Olivia Cheng (Warrior), David Hewlett (The Shape of Water) and Tamara Tunie (Flight).
See has been a favorite on the streaming platform since it first debuted in November 2019. Its cast of characters played by both sighted and visually impaired actors from Alfre Woodard (Annabelle) to Bree Klauser present compelling stories combined with intense action sequences that have kept audiences on the edge of their seats. What’s more the series world building is incredibly fleshed out and “real.”
It’s little wonder that we’re seeing a second season with a third on the way according to series star Jason Momoa who made the announcement during an appearance on The Tonight Show: Starring Jimmy Fallon according to Deadline.
