Sweets to the sweet. That phrase is read aloud by Helen Lyle (Virginia Madsen) in 1992’s Candyman, as she inspects various graffiti related to the character in the Cabrini Green housing project. Soon, Scream Factory is set to provide something very sweet for fans.

That prize is the company’s awesome-looking Collector’s Edition Blu-Ray release of Candyman, which has sadly never before been put out on HD disc in the U.S. One of the best horror films of the 1990s, Candyman was badly in need of an upgrade, and now it’s coming.

Scream Factory announced their Candyman release awhile back, and now, the kickass genre label is prepping it for a November 27th arrival. Scream has now revealed the full list of specs and extras for the 2-disc Blu-Ray, which includes a rarely seen unrated cut with extra gore.

This really is a perfect time for Candyman to get a freshly remastered version on home video, as the franchise has been in the headlines again thanks to Get Out director Jordan Peele’s teased remake. Check out the specs and art for Scream Factory’s release below.
