  1. I’ve seen all but three of these, and two of THOSE are on my Watchlist. Most of these are meh to decent, nothing must-see unless you’ve seen it all. Housebound is pretty good (but not a classic), and Audition is powerful but very hard to watch. I don’t recommend Cub at all, and I feel it is remiss of you to recommend it without the warning that there is a (spoiler alert) dog-killing scene gruesomely and protractedly depicted. Saw Haute Tension in the theatre, and liked it right up until the point where they negated their own premise by having the killer crash head-on into the “killer” (hopefully I described that nebulously enough to not be a spoiler). There are a lot of better Spanish and Korean films that could have been listed here….

  2. Evidently, we aren’t seeing the same banner—I’m seeing a picture of one of the ghosts in Rigor Mortis….

  3. Come on. Literally all my horror-loving friends have seen these. None of these are obscure, or lesser-known horror movies. If you want to make a statement like ‘you probably haven’t seen these’ you’d have to do much better than this. There are tons of great horror, lesser known horror movies out there.

  4. Though it’s january, Pitchfork is without a doubt the worst horror movie of the year. Cliche characters, awful acting and a script even a 5th grader wouldn’t like makes for a miserable 90 minutes.
