Rob Zombie is a pretty busy man these days, as he’s putting the finishing touches on Halloween horror film 31 while also prepping a Groucho Marx biopic. And Zombie’s ‘never gonna stop’ attitude is showing no signs of slowing, as he’s got his very own pinball machine in the works.
The awesome news comes our way courtesy of Metal Insider, the site reporting that Zombie is partnering with Spooky Pinball on ‘Rob Zombie’s SpookShow International’ pinball machine, set to be available to fans in January of next year. Only 300 will be made, and they won’t be cheap.
Featuring ten of Rob Zombie’s most iconic songs, including ‘Dragula,’ ‘House of 1000 Corpses,’ and ‘Living Dead Girl,’ the pinball machine will tie in to the musician/filmmaker’s music and movies, and Captain Spaulding will play a major role in the game – which will include actor Sid Haig’s voice.
Out of the 300 pinball machines being created, 250 of them will be regular editions, selling for $5,995, while the other 50 will be higher-priced special editions, going for $6,495. Needless to say, not all fans will be able to afford these bad boys, but they are truly the ultimate collector’s items for diehard Zombie fanatics.
