Who’s ready for Resident Evil 7, the latest entry in the franchise from Capcom? I know I am and things keep getting weird. Little by little, we are catching glimpses of the game, characters and enemies, but the latest trailer adds perhaps the coolest and most interest element; a cannibal type family. Almost like they ripped the dinner scene right out of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, we see the protagonist Ethan being viciously attacked by a mad looking man only to awaken bound to a chair as a family, The Bakers, sit before him at a dinner table attempting to feed the poor survivor! It’s a really interesting element to add to a Resident Evil game, especially considering it really hasn’t been touched on.

Down in Dulvey, Louisiana lies an old, derelict plantation house that looks like it hasn’t seen use in years. It turns out someone is home, though – meet the Baker family and get a glimpse at what’s to come in Resident Evil 7 biohazard, available January 24th, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. In addition to being fully playable with the included optional PlayStation VR mode, Resident Evil 7 will also support 4K on the PlayStation 4 Pro.
