Effects Artist, Cleve Hall’s IMDB reads like my childhood’s most replayed horror films. The artist had accomplished some amazing and unforgettable work on Terrorvision, Evil Spawn, Ghoulies and more. This dude was a legend and has worked on something that you have definitely seen. The effects artist is sadly dead at 61.

Hall’s Publicist announced his death on Wednesday from a heart attack. Deadline reports that his daughter Constance Hall set up a Go Fund Me for the cost of his burial, which you can visit here. “To all family, friends, fans and loved ones, we deeply regret to inform you of the passing of Cleve Hall or as he was lovingly known to many of his fans Monster Man. Cleve spent many many years as a Special makeup FX artist, foam fabricator, and horror movie actor. He was a family man, an adored father proud, grandpa and a beloved mentor,” Constance wrote.

Hall’s work ranged from Re-Animator and Ghoulies to Yo Gabba Gabba! and Big Ass Spider. Each of Hall’s works were all memorable pieces. The effects artist will be missed in the horror community.
