Sweet Dolly Dearest, I love the interwebs.

An interesting video coming out of Cusco, Peru is quickly becoming viral and has people speculating on whether what they’re actually seeing, is, in fact, the real deal. A video of a creepy little blonde-haired doll is making waves and causing massive debate between online commenters, as the video shows the toy turning its head and talking to onlookers… All without the presence of batteries inside its compartment.

Or so the people in this video claim anyway.

In a second video, the battery compartment is shown more clearly and we can see there are some batteries inserted but looks to be only half (three) of what would fully charge the toy to function. Interestingly enough, I had to dig further for this part of the video so we could look at all sides of it.

The doll utters phrases in Spanish, “I’ll bring you your happiness”, and “Where am I?”. Furthermore, when the beady-eyed little creep is picked up, it says “Thank you.”

As stated above, many who have seen the video are convinced the doll is possessed by some sort of spirit. And then we also have the skeptics believe it’s just an elaborate prank.

I asked our residential paranormal expert Waylon Jordan from Paranormal Investigating what he makes of the video:

“I don’t see anything conclusive in the video. They kept touching its hand when it was talking. Also without knowing everything the doll is programmed to say, we can’t know if it was saying anything out of the ordinary or something that couldn’t be explained by pareidolia. It’s really hard because during an investigation I try to disprove before I prove. And without putting my hands on the doll and running tests, I can’t say for sure. I’d love to see it first hand though.”
