We got our first peek at Art the Clown on the set of Terrifier 2, you guys! Writer and director, Damien Leone shared a glimpse of Art holding up two bloody fingers in front of what looks to be some sort of carnival game.

Terrifier 2 will see Art the Clown resurrected and see him terrorize a young brother and sister on Halloween night.

The film brings back David Howard Thronton as Art and sees genre faves Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp) and Jason Lively (Night of the Creeps) join the cast of folks who are bound to have a run in with the maniacal clown.

The first Terrifier set a place at the genre table for Art, and began a wild cult following in the process. I’m excited for this one. Terrifier wasn’t afraid to show it’s mean side and I’m personally grateful for it. We will have to see what Leone has in store for us when Terrifier 2 arrives next year.

Terrifier 2 was a huge crowdfunding effort that had originally aimed to raise a $50k goal and ended up with fans funding well over $200k.

What do you think Terrifier fans? Excited to see Art the Clown return? Let us know in the comments section.

He writes all things pop culture, and has accidentally kicked two sharks and lived. Give him a follow and Tweet him something not too judgy @TreyHilburn.
