Remember back when you were a youngling; You would get into bed only to wonder if there was something REALLY under there. A monster perhaps, or last weeks dirty socks reeking a stench most foul. Both are pretty much fair to say equally scary. I think at least a good majority of us as children at one point had this dilemma.
“Is there a monster under my bed?” Asking ourselves, and of course ushering the parents in our bedroom with our blubbering to assure us that we were safe.
Now let’s talk about this one minute movie. Tuck Me In, the horror short film directed by Ignacio F. Rodo. Being as how the thing is sixty seconds, I’ll make it brief and to the point; Just as the director did. Based off a story by Juan J. Ruiz, this short was entered in the film festival Filminute. The festival is an international one-minute film festival that challenges filmmakers, writers, animators, artists, designers, and creative producers to develop and submit the world’s best one-minute films. Tuck Me In, won their 2014 jury award for best minute-long film.
I think anyone who can relate as a parent would find this short unsettling. Personally, for me, it is always the psychological horror that really messes with me. So if have a spare minute to destroy you mentally, here is the video. Enjoy!
