…but the fans beat them to it.
Ardent followers of the film festival, who refer to themselves as the “Sleepless”, proved just how closely they follow changes to the festival’s website when they managed to snag VIP tickets minutes before the festival directors made the availability announcement.
“That’s just how passionate our audience is,” explained co-founder and programmer, Jason Tostevin. “I can’t say I’m surprised. We field questions every day about when they’ll go on sale. People want to be sure they get the Nightmares VIP experience.”
The VIP passes, which afford holders the use of a special VIP lounge with private bar, preferred balcony seating, and special entrances to the theater, are only $149 for the four days of some of the best horror programming of any festival in the U.S.
“There’s no festival in the world that provides this level of VIP access, where you get guaranteed balcony seats and a private bar and entrance to the theater,” co-founder Chris Hamel said. “Our VIP passes are unique on the circuit.”
Regular festival passes are also available for $99. These passes offer holders day-of rights to one ticket to every feature or shorts block throughout the festival.
There’s a reason Nightmares Film Festival has been dubbed the “Cannes of Horror” by iHorror. It is not to be missed for fans of the best that independent horror has to offer.
Their #BetterHorror says it all.
